Old work / New work

It always seems like every news items has to start with the word NEW. I use the word a lot too, when communicating with clients. But in all honesty, I carry work in my portfolio that is years old, and people respond to it the same way as they do to the latest work.

I would like to think my designs have a timeless aspect to them. And sometimes I take an old pattern that was never sold, but which I still believe in strongly, I change the scale a little, and try out a different technique, and suddenly it ‘clicks’ with clients.

Here’s some old/new work:
