New textures

Texture is so important right now! There are several ways of adding texture to textiles. Partially shrinking them – chemically or by applying heat – is a technique that nevers stops to amaze me. The patterns, in combination with the fabrics I choose for this technique, make for surprising effects every time.

Some clients use these designs as input for (vinyl) wallcovering, others weave the patterns and use shrinking yarns.
