LED & textiles

Several years ago I was asked by a group of companies to add a finishing touch to the LED ribbons they were developing. They had LEDs integrated in woven ribbon. I applied some of the techniques I use for my fabrics, and some of the results I think were quite cool.

Obviously in the mean time LED and its applications have become more refined. But the concept stands.

Although I am not a fan of integrating electronics in textiles per se, I do believe in certain (high end) applications.
