Woollen puckers

After applying a foil transfer onto untreated wool, the fabric is washed on high temperature by hand (without suffering no art, remember?) to achieve just the right amount of felting/shrinkage, thus creating the pucker effect. Very light-weight and dreamy effect. I imagine them as curtains, but the designs are also used for plaids and – in a heavier quality – for upholstery and even wallcovering.
