3-D printing, throwback to 2016

In 2016 I did my first trials with 3-D printing on textiles. Fun to do, although way more complicated than it may sound.

I was allowed to use the machines of the renowned EKWC, work centre for ceramic research. The head of the 3-D driven machines, Sander Alblas, kindly helped me with my first steps in this area, and I was allowed to do reckless trials on his machines.

Biggest issue at the time was finding flexible filaments (what was considered flexible in the 3-D printing field was still way too rigid for the textile field.) But with trial and lots of errors, I found products and machines, and developed tricks and techniques that helped me achieve what I wanted.
